Wayland is a small, affluent town of 12,970 residents located along the Sudbury River in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. It is named after former preacher and Brown University president, Francis Wayland. It is located just 16 miles from Boston and forms part of the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy metro area.
