Concord is a small town located smack in the middle of Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  The latest census of this beautiful and historic city has an estimated population of 16,993 residents.  Concord is famous for its roles in the American Revolutionary War.  The first battles of the revolution, the Battle of Lexington and Concord, took place in Concord, when residents of Concord and other nearby cities repelled an attack by the British at Old North Bridge.  Concord is also famous for its literary history.  Esteemed writers such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Henry David Thoreau penned many of their masterpieces while living here in Concord.
