The Massachusetts Turnpike has several entrances in the town, as does I-495. The IT corporation DELL EMC has its headquarters in town, providing many jobs.
The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce also plays a big part in the local community, hosting networking events and workshops for business owners. It also hosts annual events like Taste of Middlesex, which showcases local eateries. Hopkinton recently revitalized the downtown shopping center, as well!
You’ll find Hopkinton real estate in a variety of sizes, styles, and price points. There are mansions set on huge lots, as well as comfortable family homes. You can also find condos for low-maintenance living. Some of the available properties are classic Colonial architecture, modernized and upgraded. Hopkinton is the start of the Boston marathon, and it’s a great place to live if you enjoy being active outdoors. The town’s parks and rec department sponsors lots of activities throughout the year. Kids make memories at summer camp. There are art classes and science workshops, as well as sports, including volleyball, tennis, lacrosse, and flag football. Hopkinton State Park offers many miles of hiking trails, picturesque picnicking areas, as well as fishing and swimming. Whitehall State Park’s reservoir is a fun place to go boating and fishing. It also has trails for walking, biking and horseback riding.
