The Advanced Math And Science Academy Charter School for grades 6-12 has received High Acedemic Scores and ranks among the top in the State. There are four towns, from which the school gets its students: Marlborough, Hudson, Maynard and Clinton. A Lottery is used for admission.
There are lots of things to do outdoors, including hiking trails, public beach, wading pools, playgrounds, and fields for sports. There are plenty of great restaurants, as well as excellent shopping at Solomon Pond Mall. From July to September, there’s also a great farmers market.
Marlborough is a part of Middlesex County, which according to the latest Census Bureau report, is the third fastest growing county in Massachusetts. Marlborough was a prosperous industrial city in the 19th century and became a high technology industry in the late 20th century once the Massachusetts Turnpike was built.
