Best of all Sudbury retains the honor of having a historic zip code, having been chosen over Concord, of 01776.
Families checking out Sudbury will be pleased with the public schools in town. They turn in excellent standardized testing scores and have a track record of giving students a strong foundation for college and beyond. In addition, there are several private schools in town, giving families plenty of great options for educating their kids. In fact, you'll find the original Mary Had a Little Lamb Schoolhouse here!
Not only does Sudbury have many great opportunities for work and education, it’s also stunningly beautiful and has a fascinating history. The northern part of town is mostly wetland preserve, and the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge is mostly located in Sudbury. Those interested in Revolutionary War history can pay a visit to the Sudbury Historical Society. The society has a great collection of photos and documents and is heavily involved in preserving some of the town’s oldest buildings. The society also holds a variety of fundraisers and lectures throughout the year to support its work and educate the public on the region’s fascinating history.
